# Lead Intelligence

Find high-signal people and companies, score them, discover warm paths, and draft outreach.

## When to Use

- User wants to find leads in a specific vertical
- User needs to identify decision-makers at target companies
- User wants to enrich existing contacts with fresh data
- User needs a ranked target list for outreach
- User says "who should I talk to about X?"

## Pipeline

```
Signal Scoring → Mutual Ranking → Warm Path Discovery → Enrichment → Outreach Draft
```

## Stage 1: Signal Scoring

Search for high-signal people in target verticals. Score each on:

| Signal | Weight | Source |
|--------|--------|--------|
| Role/title alignment | 30% | Web search, LinkedIn |
| Industry match | 25% | Company research |
| Recent activity on topic | 20% | X/Twitter, blogs |
| Influence/reach | 10% | Follower count, engagement |
| Location proximity | 10% | Public profiles |
| Engagement with your content | 5% | Social interactions |

## Stage 2: Mutual Ranking

For each lead, assess mutual fit:
- What value can you offer them? (not just what you want)
- Is there a natural reason to connect?
- Would they respond to a cold outreach or do you need a warm intro?

## Stage 3: Warm Path Discovery

For top-ranked leads, find connection paths:
- Mutual connections (check social graphs)
- Shared communities (Discord, Slack, forums)
- Events they attend or speak at
- Content they engage with that you could contribute to
- Open-source projects they maintain

## Stage 4: Enrichment

For each qualified lead, gather:
- Current role and company
- Recent public activity (posts, talks, articles)
- Pain points they've expressed publicly
- Projects they're working on
- Preferred communication channel

## Stage 5: Outreach Draft

Draft personalized outreach that:
- References something specific they did or said
- Leads with value you can offer
- Is short (3-5 sentences for cold, more for warm)
- Has a clear, low-commitment ask
- Matches the platform tone (X DM vs email vs LinkedIn)

## Output Format

```
TARGET LIST (ranked by score)
#1: [Name] — [Role] at [Company]
    Score: X/100
    Signal: [why they're relevant]
    Warm path: [connection route]
    Outreach angle: [personalized hook]
#2: ...
```

## Guardrails

- Never fabricate information about a person
- Always verify claims with public sources
- Do not draft outreach that misrepresents the user's intent
- Flag when data is stale or unverifiable
- Recommend against outreach if there's no genuine mutual value
